Tactile Typography

3D Prints
An experimental typography project exploring the potential for objects to hold semantic meaning.

Each form is based off of the Braille spelling for one of the 6 basic emotions: sad, happy, scared, surprised, and disgusted. The letters for each emotion are then 3D modelled, stacked vertically, and joined together.

The forms were then 3D printed into tactile objects which seem visually abstract but bear a direct link to language and semantics.
